Kenyan content creator and influencer Lydia Wanjiru has spoken out against constant comparisons between her body and that of fellow internet personality Pritty Vishy, particularly regarding their Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures.

In a candid response shared online, Wanjiru asked fans and critics to stop putting the two women in the same category, explaining that their body types and starting points before surgery were completely different. According to her, the comparisons are unfair because many of the influencers people compare her to already had a naturally fuller body structure before undergoing cosmetic procedures.

Wanjiru explained that her situation was different. She said she started with a much smaller frame and had to gradually build her desired shape over time. Because of that, she believes the results of her procedure should not be judged using the same expectations placed on others who had more curves before surgery.

The influencer emphasized that cosmetic surgery outcomes vary from person to person depending on body composition, lifestyle, and individual goals. She added that people should understand that not all BBL results will look identical, even if the same procedure is performed.
Her remarks sparked debate on social media, with some users supporting her call to end body comparisons, while others continued discussing the growing popularity of cosmetic procedures among Kenyan influencers.

The conversation also highlights a wider trend in Kenya’s digital culture, where public figures increasingly face scrutiny over their bodies and appearance. Wanjiru’s statement has therefore reopened discussions about body image, unrealistic expectations, and the pressure influencers face online.
