Drama in the ATL: Porsha Williams' $7M Mansion Hit with Lien Amid Ex-Husband's Legal Woes

Atlanta, GA — The legal saga between Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams and her ex-husband, Simon Guobadia, has taken another dramatic turn.  A recent court filing reveals that Guobadia's former divorce attorney, Onyema Farrey, has placed a lien on the couple's $7.3 million Sandy Springs estate, alleging that Guobadia owes over $200,000 in unpaid legal fees.  The 15,284-square-foot mansion, currently occupied by Williams, was awarded to her during their contentious divorce proceedings.

Despite being barred from the property, Guobadia remains financially responsible for the mortgage, taxes, and utility payments, as stipulated in their divorce settlement.  The lien adds to the mounting legal challenges Guobadia faces, including his recent deportation to Nigeria following immigration violations.

In June 2025, a judge enforced the couple's prenuptial agreement, awarding Williams $40,000 per month in alimony for up to 15 months, exclusive use of the mansion for up to 36 months, and the Rolls-Royce gifted to her by Guobadia.   Williams has expressed relief and gratitude following the court's decision, describing the divorce as a "nightmare" and emphasizing her focus on healing and moving forward.

The ongoing legal disputes and financial entanglements suggest that the drama between Williams and Guobadia is far from over.  As both parties navigate the complexities of their separation, the Atlanta mansion remains at the center of their legal battles.
